Travel Grants
Conditions
Participants may apply for a grant that covers their accommodation in Göttingen as well as their travel costs to the conference venue. The awardees will also receive a conference package free of charge.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a travel grant, you have to be enrolled as a graduate student (master's or PhD level), work in a field relevant to the topic of the symposium and present a poster during one of the poster sessions.
Application
Application for a travel grant is integrated in the registration form. After registration, you will receive an email containing a link to our submission form. Here, you need to upload your poster abstract along with a short statement of motivation (max. 2000 characters) by 16th June, explaining why you want to attend the symposium.
Selection
All travel grant applications will be assessed by a panel of principal investigators from the IMPRS for Molecular Biology faculty in an anonymous review process, taking both the poster abstract and the motivation statement into account. We will inform you of this review-process by mid-July via email.
